Unraveling Faith, Family, and Tortillas: A Comedy of Miracles and Mayhem

The Cruz family is volatile even in the best of times, but today is anything but ordinary. Nelson, the youngest son, rushes home in a panic to hide the overtly religious relics before his "gringo" girlfriend arrives for the weekend. Meanwhile, his mother, Dahlia, is preoccupied with a mission to win back her husband from his new girlfriend. Eddie, the elder son, pulls up in a van, bringing along his failed dreams and pregnant girlfriend.

However, the real chaos ensues when sweet, long-suffering Dolores, Dahlia's old-maid sister, discovers the face of the Holy Virgin in a tortilla. This miraculous find draws hordes of believers and reporters, turning the Cruz family's lawn into a bustling campsite of hopeful onlookers awaiting further miracles. As the family navigates their tangled web of beliefs and conflicts, both old and new, they ultimately discover that the true miracle lies in the enduring power of family love.
